20+ Kitchen Sink Overflow Pipe Leaking. I have noticed that the pipe going from the overflow to the drain (a) has a low point below the level at which it drains, which i think means water and dirt will pool and sit in this low there would certainly be no problem shortening the flexible pipe some so that it does not collect water at its low point.
